The TC Student Council, in partnership with the American Red Cross, hosted its second annual Blood Drive yesterday. The TC community showed up to help others, at a time when the Red Cross and hospitals across the country are experiencing extreme donor blood shortages. Together, 36 units of blood were collected-- Enough to help save the lives of 108 people!
Thank you to those who helped organize, volunteer the day of, and of course those who donated! We couldn't have done it without you. Pictured from left to right: Standing - Charlotte Lynch, Janilla King, Lainey Parah, Kayla Capone, Ana Oliveira, Ariana Wilkerson, Sitting - Emily Chaisson |

The clock is ticking towards graduation! The second trimester has now ended; final grades for this trimester will be available on March 23. If your student has catching up to do on grades or attendance, please remind them that there are just 10 weeks left in this last trimester! A letter to families whose students must satisfy obligations (class dues, uniform fees, etc.) will be mailed during April vacation.
Seniors will be dismissed at 2 p.m. on Friday afternoons for the remainder of the school year. This is a privilege granted only to seniors. Should they be a ride home for a younger sibling, they will have to wait for the 2:10 dismissal of the remainder of the student body. Underclassmen will not be dismissed early on these days and the abuse of this privilege will lead to its revocation. |
All Grade 10 students will be attending an assembly on Digital Safety on 3/26/26. The Norfolk County District Attorney's Office received a grant to sponsor this speaker for schools. A flyer on the presentation can be found here.
One hundred sixty three students tested for SkillsUSA this past week! Involvement in Skills is a wonderful way for students to show off what their trade skills. We are pleased to have so many student participants vying for recognition this year; outstanding students who succeed in successive competitions may be eligible to travel to Atlanta in June for the national championships.
A first breakfast and lunch are free for all students daily. The school counseling team has created this list of food resources for any family who needs assistance. Additionally, the school can offer some assistance through our Cougars Care closet; please reach out to your student's counselor if your family is in need of assistance. They work with students and families in confidence to help access assistance.
